I wanted to test out the new ink pens I bought. I going to be inking all my comics by hand because its more enjoyable then doing it with a wacom.
I was just going to scan it and show of the line art, but then decided that I should test to see how much work coloring would be. It went pretty smooth actually so I could even color DI if thats what I decide I want to do. I'm so excited about this new direction my art is taking.
Of course credit to this whole artistic turn goes to though I think it was largely accidental this time.
Thanks. I'm really happy I stopped heading down this road where I thought everything had to be done digitally for no other reason then because it could be and I liked computers.
i noticed that too, everyone's gone digital even i have, but inking i do by hand most of the time. i would color by hand too but i dont have color pencils (unless you count craola, but i dont even hav much of those) so im down to using my tablet on photoshop.
i dont blame them for going digital, even though its SOOO boring to ink it, it comes out way smoother.
p.s. thankies for watching :] not too many people watch me that often, so it's greatly appreciated
I don't mind coloring digitally. its just the inking that got frustrating. I think its got something to do with that ever so slight delay from the input.
You're welcome btw. Your art was cute and I look foward to seeing you grow as an artist.

This contest serves two purposes: Raising awareness about human trafficking and raising funds for the Not For Sale organization.
Open to all mediums. Deadline is March 10, 2010 @ 11:59pm PST.
